Join Google, Intel docking to Android


Intel Corporation working with Google to accelerate the smartphone business. This cooperation was announced by Intel President and CEO Paul Otellini in San Francisco, Tuesday (13/09/2011).

"Computing is always in evolution," said Otellini in a release received Kompas.com, Wednesday (14/09/2011).

According to him, the need for extraordinary computing, to client devices to cloud computing, has created a great opportunity for the industry. "Intel to innovate and collaborate with partners to deliver a better mobile computing experience, secure, and seamless. I am very excited to welcome new experiences that will be present through various devices, and this is only the beginning," he added.

Otellini said, Intel and Google collaboration will optimize the upcoming release of the Android platform, using low-power Intel Atom processor. "Our collaboration with Google will bring great new capabilities to help accelerate innovation, adoption, and the number of options in this industry," said Otellini.

This joint initiative also includes the Chrome OS, Google TV, and the Android Software Development Kit (SDK), and Native Development Kit (NDK).
