One More, Pay Vendor Android Patents to Microsoft

Android's success is not only good news for Google, but also a new purse for Microsoft. This is because Microsoft successfully claimed several patents on devices that use the Android platform.

In total there are 10 Android platform hardware company that had agreed to pay the patent to Microsoft. Finally, Microsoft make patent agreement with Compal Electronics, a vendor of hardware from China. Compal Electronics is required to deposit some funds that are not mentioned to Microsoft over the use of compensation Android and Chrome OS contained in homemade products, such as smartphones, tablets, and other electronic devices.

With this agreement means half of Android devices around the world, the patent is owned by Microsoft. Previously, Microsoft has made an agreement about the patent on the Android and Chrome OS with nine companies, namely Samsung, HTC, Acer, ViewSonic, Onkyo, General Dynamics Itronix, Velocity Micro, Wistron and Quanta Computer.

Microsoft considers his patent contained in any device that uses Android / Chrome. To demand their rights, Microsoft would prefer the device makers demanding than against Google. This step is quite successful, Microsoft managed to get the money from each sale of Android devices are manufactured in the company's top ten.

Not only to the ten companies, Microsoft reportedly is conducting "conversations" about the patent on Android with Foxconn, Inventec, Barnes & Noble, and Motorola. Currently, Microsoft was demanding Barnes & Noble about patents in e-reader Nook running Android and Motorola over the use of Microsoft's patent on Motorola Android device.

Google is actually not remain silent with Microsoft lunge, one of his business is to acquire Motorola Mobility. However, this step has not been too effective in a tackle on the steps Microsoft cites a fee for each sale of Android devices. Currently, Google, too, were busy looking for a way to stop the Microsoft quote a fee for each sale of Android devices.
