Xperia Neo Limited Sale

One of Sony Ericsson smartphone that was introduced this year is the Xperia Neo. This smartphone has actually been introduced in other countries in early 2011, but Indonesia will enter the market about two weeks away.

"Neo is not really intended for the Indonesian market in the beginning. But due to great demand, so we decided to sell well here," said Ben Padley, Head of Marketing at Sony Ericsson Indonesia in a media briefing on Tuesday (10/18/2011) in Jakarta.

The smartphone will be marketed at a price of around 3 million. There are three colors that would fit, red, black and silver. Marketing will increase the choice Xperia phones already on the market today, namely the Xperia Pro, Xperia Play, and the Xperia Arc.

Since Indonesia is not really the target market of the Xperia Neo, Djunadi said, "Xperia Neo will be marketed in limited quantities because it is not intended for the Indonesian market."

Xperia Neo could say "derivative" of the Xperia Vivaz because features have many similarities. Xperia Neo also arguably less expensive version of the Xperia Arc. Xperia Neo has a 1GHz processor with Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread. Only, this smartphone measures 3.7 inches, in contrast with the Xperia Arc measuring 4.2 inches.
