BBX Operating System Names New BlackBerry


Research In Motion (RIM) announced the latest operating system that is named in the event the BlackBerry Devcon BBX Americas in San Francisco, USA, Tuesday (18/10/2011). BBX QNX-based platform will be used in future smartphones and tablets made ​​by RIM.

On the occasion, Co CEO of RIM Mike Lazaridis also announced the development of devices required the developers to create richer applications on the BlackBerry. BBX themselves continue to support applications that have been created on the BlackBerry Playbook. At a conference devoted to the application developers, RIM also announced a Native SDK fot the BlackBerry Playbook. With this new development tools, developers can create applications of high-performance, multithreaded, native C / C + +, and even 3D games with OpenGL ES 2.0 and Open AL. BlackBerry also provides BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.2 for building applications natively on the HTML5-based smartphones and tablets.
