Google: Goodbye JavaScript

Google released a new programming language, Dart, who was remembered as a replacement for JavaScript. Announcement of the emergence of a new language is done by Lars Bak, Google software engineer in his blog (10/10/2011).

Dart is an object-oriented programming language designed to facilitate the work of Google's web developers in building web based applications. Google's mission is to replace JavaScript to Dart that is considered less flexible for web programming.

The developers who are accustomed to coding using JavaScript must be familiar with the language structure owned by Dart. This is an attraction for developers to switch to this new programming language. Another advantage Dart, Dart language code can be compiled into the code of the Java language. So that applications built on the Dart can be run on almost all browsers, as well as on mobile devices that support JavaScript.

With all these advantages, just how Google convince developers to switch to Dart. "We're talking about Java that has been around for 15 years, complete with all the tools, ideas, and a myriad of applications," said Jason Levitt, a software consultant and former technology evangelistYahoo.
